Your role

Supply Chain Analytics, Product and Research (SHARP) leads innovative projects for multiple countries to support end-to-end supply chain optimizations and bring the world’s most customer-centric experience. On the Placement charter, they aim to place inventory at the right place, in the right quantity at the right time. To reach this vision they build analytical products to audit and improve the systems responsible for inventory placement and also build statistical models (forecasting, classification and recommendation) and simulation frameworks to support a/b testing and drive improvements within the supply chain.

Key job responsibilities

This is an analytical position that provides Supply Chain operations support. This position will work with multiple business teams to develop and maintain ad hoc/regular business reports and to work on relevant analytical support.

The intern would work closely with internal and external stakeholders on:

  • BI products development and maintenance.
  • Customer interaction and feature mapping.
  • Ad-hoc analysis to investigate system decisions and metrics impact.

About you

Amazon is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on BA.

Basic qualifications

  • Excellent skills in SQL, Tableau, Excel, Quicksight or other data visualization products
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and good logical thinking
  • Basic understanding of at least one scripting language, e.g. Python
  • Excellent English written skills
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information management system, Engineering, Statistics)

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift and Apache Spark
