Your role

Arup Graduate Development Programme runs in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Your ideas could help Arup designs a new offshore wind farm or pioneering green hydrogen solutions, combat the effects of sea level rise for island communities, or connect millions of commuters to work, family, and critical services.

Arup's programme blends hands-on experience with technical knowledge giving you the opportunity to learn while creating city-shaping projects. Training & development 

This Graduate Development Program is a two-year programme with a blend of formal training and development with on-the-job learning. The formal training is delivered through workshops, webinars, and self-enabled learning modules.

Work-life balance

At its head office in Petaling Jaya, the regular working hours are 9 hours per day (08:30 AM to 05:30 PM), from Monday to Friday. However, on Friday, it ends a bit earlier at 05:00 PM. Meanwhile, based on employee reviews online, Arup applies flexible working hours and working-from-home arrangements that support work-life balance even more.

About you

To be eligible for applying to this programme, you will need to meet the main requirements below:

• Applications are open to candidates who will have completed a relevant degree before the end of 2023
• Candidates applying for roles in Malaysia are required to hold Malaysia's citizenship or permanent residency in Malaysia.
• Candidates must not have more than 12 months of experience in a similar role
