We are looking for Electrical & Power Systems Engineering Graduates to be based in the following locations: 

  • Tāmakai Makaurau / Auckland 
  • Tauranga

This role will sit in the Energy & Industrial business unit.  

What is Power Transmission & Distribution at Aurecon? 

Power Transmission & Distribution business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of professionals based across the offices in New Zealand on wide variety of projects of our Energy & Industrial service group, getting exposure to varied and challenging projects locally in New Zealand and in Australia 

What are we looking for from you?  
 
1. You'll be ready to make an impact. You would have graduated or be graduating soon with a formal qualification. You will need to have the ability to work on a full-time basis from February 2025. 
 
2. We'll need you to have any of these degrees: Bachelor in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering (Hons) (or equivalent) 

3. You would have studied following subjects or areas of focus: 

  • Power Systems 
  • Electrical Engineering Design 
  • Control systems 
  • Engineering Mathematics 
  • Engineering Electromagnetics

4. And you will bring: 

  • Passion for changing the way we deliver carbon neutrality and sustainability in everything we do. 
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with both your peers and clients to push forward the boundaries of what is possible. 
  • Enthusiasm for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.
