About our Building Services Group

At Aurecon we bring a design led thinking approach to consider how people will live, work, and use the buildings we design. We focus on forming lasting relationships with clients who develop and maintain sustainable, complex buildings.

We provide multi-disciplinary specialisations in the Buildings team encompassing an array of Engineers including Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Hydraulic, Sustainability, Facades and Fire Protection Engineers.

Structural Engineers work closely with clients and design teams to create economic, robust, and resilient building structure solutions. Through our design process we can control how a building will behave when subjected to extreme environmental forces from wind and earthquakes, while also considering day-to-day use of the building by its inhabitants by considering elements such as floor vibration, and the acoustic and fire performance of structural materials.

We are proud that our mahi directly contributes to Aotearoa’s Built Environment.
