My work hours are quite flexible. i am able to start work at a time that suits me, attend any appointments i need to where i'm not able to book them 'outside of standard work hours' and can make these hours up quite easily so that this time is not always booked a 'leave'.

The anao is very flexible with the working hours. i usually start early (between 8 and 8:30am), and finish early (between 4 and 4:30pm). all my managers have been accommodating with any time off i have requested, including annual leave, flex days and days when i requested to work from home. of course, we have to consider business needs when we schedule leave, which can be difficult if you are in the middle of a very busy period, but that is common to all entities.

Anao is pretty good at supporting flexible arrangements. i've only heard of them being rejected if they are particularly unusual or unnecessary.

I tend to work a 7-and-a-half-hour day, with it increased to up to 10 hours during busy time. in terms of flexibility with hours, last year i worked 7:30-3:30 while my coworker worked 9-5, showing that there is flexibility with working hours.

We work 37.5 hours a week. my supervisors have been very flexible in allowing me to work some days longer and others shorter. i have also been able to take a couple of days off using flex leave accrued working longer days.

There is a period through out the year where things do pick up, so it is expected, not mandatory that you work longer hours. you are compensated with flex or overtime. so your hard work doesn't go un-noticed.
