We have been voted as highest-ranking professional services and accounting firm in the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) Top 75 Graduate Employers and overall BDO has been voted number 15 of 75!
We are seeking students who are interested in joining our Vacation Program in November/December 2023. As a Vacationer with BDO you will have the opportunity to gain real world experience in a short-term program across the university holidays. Our Vacation Program provides insight into our service lines and teams, to help you understand the many career opportunities available to you at BDO.
Throughout your placement you will be immersed in the culture of BDO (NTH QLD) and will gain exposure to activities such as:
You will have a dedicated buddy, with access to Partners and Managers along the way. A vacation placement can also provide a pathway to a Graduate role with BDO.
About You
We are seeking students who are currently studying a relevant qualification such as a Bachelor of Business or a Bachelor of Commence. You will bring:
I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
