Join BDO as a Vacationer in our Digital & Technology Advisory team in either November 2025 or January 2026!
BDO is one of the world’s leading audit, accounting, advisory and consulting firms. We provide a range of services to clients of all sizes and industries across Australia.
As a vacationer you’ll see firsthand how our Digital & Technology Advisory team work closely with clients, both in the public and private sector, to support them in implementing new and exciting solutions to transform their digital and technological offerings.
This will vary from day to day and can include data analysis, research, deck building, and involvement in client meetings.

What you’ll offer:
- You will be in your final year or have recently completed a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Information Technology i.e. Computer Science, AI etc. Degrees in Commerce, Engineering, Science and Law will also be considered
- Your availability to commence in either November 2025 or January 2026 for 4 weeks. The length of the program and available intakes may vary in each location.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pros
The culture in and out of the office is great.
My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.
Great opportunity to learn. People are nice and not getting annoyed when I ask questions.
Never any pressure to stay late.
The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.
Cons
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
