It is very committed

Yes, we care about the minorities. I did donate some this year to the women organsation.

Extremely well balance of gender in the workplace.
Graduate, Melbourne - 23 Aug 2024
Could include more women, however this is the industry. Maternity leave is probably the worst of all the large accounting firms, so this could be improved. Child care could also be an option too.

Team is very diverse, culturally speaking. No members of the LGBTQIA+ community in my team, but there is representation in the firm, and they are treated like anyone else.

The ratio of women and men are pretty equal, as well as the race is pretty diverse from my observations.

Very respectful

BDO endorses all of the above. The firm has an appropriate women to men ratio and employs people of various backgrounds. Also, my team actually had four women who went on maternity leave.
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Jun 2015
Maternity leave - seems quite good. I would estimate 3/4 of the partners in my department are women. There is about a 50/50 mix of males in females in the general staff in the department
Graduate, Brisbane - 01 Jun 2015
Hiring and promotion is very inclusive. Parental leave options are also very generous.

Female Partners still a minority, but growing this year in particular. Diverse workforce (ethnicity, background, previous experience)

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
We accept applications from all applicants regardless of their background
Midlevel, Cairns - 31 May 2015
Less of a focus on the top universities (more about attitude and personal skills)

It offers everyone the opportunity to apply through the online process
