Contributing to all drilling operations in our geothermal. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring drilling and intervention work, data analytics, report writing, engineering calculations to solve problems, working with contractors/consultants.

I'm responsible for looking after the content on the customer-facing website along with working on multiple side projects.

My role as a Finance Graduate has me placed in the wider region of Finance. I currently work in commodity risk where we look into how different commodities contribute to the risk we take on as a company.

Learning new stuffs from trainings or meetings, exploring new spaces (not tied up to just own role), managing small projects, help managing the reservoir and consents.

Mechanical Engineer. Focus on business as usual work (inspections, design and selection processes, investigative work, collaboration and learning) with additional responsibilities in minor project work (upgrades and improvements of sub-systems).

I've enjoyed the projects I've got to work on and the bau work in my current role is farily enjoyable.

I get to work on a variety of different things for different teams which is interesting. The opportunity to join in on what you want to work on is good.

Very satisfied with my role. It's well aligned to what I was hoping to do post graduation. I work mostly independently and work varies significantly day to day depending on what project is the ongoing. I have more responsibility and autonomy than I anticipated.

Project management, asset condition monitoring data analysis. Assisting with faults and findings as they occur. Assisting other engineers with projects as required.

So far, I am basically learning about the company work and the different processes and roles involved in the delivery of power and maintaining the system. I had multiple site visits that included technical information.

Currently I work with operating plants monitoring their performance and looking for ways to improve generation. This usually comes in the form of daily surveillance or investigation and reporting tasks given to me by my manager.

Learning about energy markets strategy and project based work.

Searching data for electrical devices testing setting performing math calculations and recording data in charts or diagrams. Supporting electrical engineers in testing the electrical systems preparing chart diagrams and reports for testing results. Assisting engineers in designing researching and testing the hydropower station projects. Test whether the designs or circuits meet the safety requirements and regulations. Assembling the control system test gear circuits calibrator and metering equipment according to safety regulations. • Assisting in designing and arranging electrical devices and circuits, relays, and protection systems in powerhouse in support of electrical engineers. • Estimating and documenting the data and costs of electrical devices. • Installing assemblies of Modbus communication systems, metering, and indicating devices.

I get a good combination of time spent out in the field and working in the office doing interesting and positive work

Working with designers suppliers construction managers and contractors (more) to progress project construction activities with a focus on budget schedule and quality
