About the Role

We have an outstanding opportunity for a graduate who is looking to grow in the field of payroll. Our team looks after over 650 customers and you will be responsible for a dedicated portfolio of customers. We are currently looking for a team player to join our Auckland based Payroll processing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your payroll career with a team that truly delivers solutions second to none. You will be responsible for processing the payroll and assisting clients with their payroll queries over the phone and email.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have the ability, providing advice and solutions specific to their payroll needs. You may be a recent graduate looking to start your career or maybe have a background in banking and now looking for a new challenge. It goes without saying that your communication skills will be exceptional as you’ll be involved in processing payroll and dealing with clients on a daily basis.

This role would suit someone who has studied finance, had experience in administration or perhaps worked in a team with strong numbers and customer service experience.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Experience in payroll, finance or customer service.
  • Smart and have a good attitude
  • Clear thinkers, logical , not easily rattled
  • Good with numbers and organisational skills
  • Have good communication skills – written and spoken
  • Understand customer service – that can-do attitude, nothing is too much trouble
  • Good under pressure – payroll is stressful
  • Computer literate (word, excel, email etc.)
  • Ability adapt and learn our system, as well as the payroll legislation at the same time.
