Culture at Degnan

I believe that the work culture at Degnan is very multicultural and diverse which makes it an extremely inclusive work environment.

The culture present within the workplace and after hours is very good. The structure and hierarchy is clearly defined however, socialisation, teamwork and cooperation is clearly present.

Laid back company culture, flay hierarchy. Everyone is happy to come to work as all workers are treated with respect. This provides Degnan the benefit of having a large base of long-term employees, and employees who are happy to come to work. Teamwork is encouraged and knowledge is freely shared when teaching opportunities arise. Very dedicated group of senior engineers happy to lend their knowledge to those who want to listen. After hours, Degnan holds many functions on both a project and company wide level.

Very pleasant and good culture overall.

Generally speaking the culture is good and supportive. Most teams are quite dynamic and have various skill sets and ability. The sites are under a lot of pressure as a result of issues outside their control but generally everyone works well together. There is a small disconnect between site and office staff.
