Consultant in tax and business advisory. Preparing both annual and monthly financial management reports for large maori trusts, farming operatives and other entities.
Helping with various tasks within audit enagement: documenting, liasing with client, testing accounting records

The work can be tough and mundane as that is just the nature of the job. It has been hard as the interview process did not feel completely honest about what the day-to-day of the job actually entailed. Further, we are expected to do a lot of study outside of work for the first 5 months as part of a compulsory diploma all first year graduates have to do.
Organisational structure can be cumbersome/confusing.
Tight deadlines or turnaround... make it hard to plan out workflow sometimes.
A healthy work-life balance can sometimes not be encouraged by all.
