What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay is low compared to my peers at other companies
Graduate, Hamilton - 16 Sep 2024
It is enough, although I would think they give more considering the fast pace environment we are working in
Graduate, Wellington - 03 Sep 2024
Average, but know it is better than at one of the other big 4.
Graduate, Christchurch - 03 Sep 2024
Unsure how bonus work, pay is av
Graduate, Auckland - 02 Sep 2024
Pay is average to start, however clear opportunities for pay rises available. Unfamiliar with bonus system as of now.
Graduate, Christchurch - 02 Sep 2024
The pay is "standard" in relation to the industry. But there are no bonuses or financial incentives.
Graduate, Dunedin - 02 Sep 2024
Pretty good, not sure about at the higher levels but few companies would offer more for grads
Graduate, Wellington - 02 Sep 2024
On par or just behind other big four accounting firms

Minimal for the first 3 years.
Graduate, Auckland - 09 Aug 2021
It could be more, however, it is enough to live on and I anticipate more in future years as my knowledge and experience grows.
Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
As a graduate, I don't really have many thoughts on my pay to be honest. It is what it is really. I have not received any bonuses, nor do I expect to.
Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
They have increased the salary bands for junior staff, but it could be better. Especially if you compare it to graduates/junior staff in the public sector.
Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
Bonuses seem to be paid more based on team performance rather than individual performance. I have not yet received a bonus, but am aware that other graduates received bonuses based on team performance.
Graduate, Christchurch - 09 Aug 2021
It is good, slow start but the jumps in between are substantial
Graduate, Auckland - 09 Aug 2021
They come annually but they start you on a small pay so the annual bonuses are nice but don't make a huge improvement to potential savings and affording a family lifestyle
Midlevel, Hamilton - 09 Aug 2021
I understand we are training, but as soon as people at my level work a few hours of overtime we risk falling below minimum wage. For a job that requires a university degree, that seems ridiculous.
Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
Compared to other jobs in the field - the pay is slightly lower. However, we do get extra bonuses and my studies are paid for by the firm which adds up. The work environment is good so the pay is not a huge concern for me.
Graduate, Rotorua - 09 Aug 2021
Pay isn't good compared to over grad level jobs in finance.
Graduate, Auckland - 09 Aug 2021
The pay is low and we sometimes go below minimum with the hours worked

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.

Graduate, Christchurch - 17 Sep 2024
Biggest perk is probably having a large group of people doing caanz at the same time
Graduate, Hamilton - 16 Sep 2024
Good social events, monthly firm drinks, monthly office shout for lunch, subsidized health insurance + many more benefits for managers & above.
Cconsultant, Rotorua - 04 Sep 2024
Free food is quite common. Levied health insurance, a lot of different leave provided.
Graduate, Wellington - 03 Sep 2024
Some contribution to health insurance, great company phone and phone bill paid.
Graduate, Christchurch - 03 Sep 2024
Free food
Graduate, Auckland - 02 Sep 2024
Not entirely sure, so far have used some such as golf club membership and gym discount.
Graduate, Christchurch - 02 Sep 2024
Prezzy card for getting a bravo
Graduate, Christchurch - 02 Sep 2024
There are few perks. Travel expenses are covered and there is personal mileage reimbursement. We are provided with a phone. But otherwise I have not experienced many company perks.
Graduate, Dunedin - 02 Sep 2024

Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
Flexible working
Midlevel, Auckland - 09 Aug 2021
Might be random but the wellington offers sparkling water on tap if you are into that. The social club is cool! The other week they put on a movie night at a cinema here and my partner could come too. Was a nice night out!
Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
Where there is availability, sometimes we get access to free rugby tickets etc. There's also a lot of free food at certain functions and projects also have few team dinners that are fully paid for.
Graduate, Wellington - 09 Aug 2021
Lots of free food provided at meetings, lots of discounts but could get more. Travel a lot for work.
