About the Downer Cadetship

Our programme takes between 2.5 to 4 years to complete, depending on your academic status at the time of commencing the programme.  We have programme managers who oversee and support cadet progress throughout to support you, as well as being allocated a mentor to support study and work placement learnings.

This programme offers a structured rotation plan that ensures a full range of roading and construction knowledge and experiences.

You’ll also have regular meetings to share experiences with other cadets and network with business managers.  We’ll also provide financially and leave allocation to support academic achievement and of course, once you’ve completed the programme you’ll get placement in an entry-level engineering role.
