Henry Morgan

Associate Project Management at DXC Technology

Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Arts at Monash University

The first six months at DXC have been a whirlwind of learning and growth, supported by an inclusive culture, a buddy system, and valuable mentorship, all while contributing to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

What was the first 6 months like?

The six months were a whirlwind of new faces, names, and processes! My time was divided between meeting team members (who were all very welcoming), engaging in online training modules, and getting posted to a government client. What I have enjoyed most is the inclusive and supportive culture at DXC; I have been encouraged to always ask questions and not be afraid to make mistakes.

What sort of support are you provided at DXC?

We have a “buddy system” at DXC, where we are assigned a “buddy” from the previous year’s graduate cohort. My buddy has been a great resource for answering day-to-day questions and making me feel comfortable at DXC. I was also assigned a mentor; an experienced project manager with years of experience. My mentor has been great for offering me insightful career advice and for helping me navigate the complexities of the role.

What do you work on?

Day-to-day my work has included a mix of project management, PMO (Project Management Office) activities, and training. The project management work involves coordinating team members, setting timelines, and ensuring that project milestones are met. As part of the PMO, I assist in maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with company processes. Continuous learning is also a key part of my role; I regularly participate in training courses via DXC’s online learning platform.
