I believe DXC has a positive culture, especially within the graduate and early career community. DXC plans in-office and virtual activities and events every month or so. The early career community in Sydney plans social activities as well.

Friendly, social, very welcoming.
Graduate, Wellington - 02 Aug 2024
My team is great, we have fun with banter and have our own mini games while we are in the office. Really improves the work life.
Graduate, Canberra - 01 Aug 2024
Culture is great, some out of hours activities however largely limited to my local team. Cooperation is high and works well in a high trust environment.
Again somewhat difficult with large numbers working from home, but my team being largely in office makes a big difference.
Graduate, Adelaide - 31 Jul 2024
The culture at our company is hard to quantify as none of my team are in my state. However my client team who i work closely with were great.

There is some culture in the office, and a few after-work drinks and/or work lunches have been organised on an ad-hoc basis, however because lots of individuals have left (especially in the Early Careers Community), this culture has been reduced when compared to when I first joined.
When I first joined the portfolio, there seemed to be a more rigid hierarchy, however because a few people have left, this hierarchy has become less rigid.
There is a reasonable amount of teamwork within the portfolio, which has been beneficial when we have had hard deadlines to meet.

Our company culture is characterized by a balanced and cooperative environment, both during office hours and after work. The structure and hierarchy promote an open and inclusive atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork. Colleagues work well together for the most part, and there's a notable level of support within teams from what I've experienced. Socializing after hours is also common.

Structured coherently, sociable
Graduate, Melbourne - 29 Sep 2016
Matrix organisation, so you will be able to interact with employees at differing levels. This allows for excellent exposure for staff. Not much socializing outside of work hours. Not that great for young staff
Graduate, Sydney - 29 Sep 2016
older culture slow to move
Graduate, Melbourne - 29 Sep 2016
Very warm atmosphere among colleagues
Graduate, Melbourne - 29 Sep 2016
The culture is good - people are very open and helpful which creates a very nice environment. The managers are always open and supportive, regardless of their position. The culture outside of office hours is also great with lots of events - Friday night drinks, Social Club events, Footy Day morning tea etc.
Graduate, Melbourne - 29 Sep 2016
A more mature culture due to the majority of colleagues being over 40, however there are heaps of social activities you can be involved in.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
The structure is quite horizontal, there is no feeling that anyone is better than anyone else. There is a lot of cooperation and teamwork, and the workplace is generally very friendly and open. The out of work social aspect is not as strong, there is not a massive social scene, but this is being worked on, and the social scene that exists is very open and welcoming.
Graduate, Melbourne - 28 Sep 2016
Culture is evolving as we acquire companies. It is a great place to work, especially for grads as everyone is super friendly and helpful. Fridays could be a little more social though...
