The role  

FNZ is a fast-paced company, and by working with us you will get the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team on several different projects and tasks. 

  • Support our Developers with changes and bug fixes throughout our projects,
  • Help with security defects and learn about financial platforms,
  • Gain exposure to different languages and frameworks (including C#, asp.net, jQuery, Typescript, Java, React, SQL, and many more),
  • Support with making improvements across our tools

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science or a related field; or have completed an intensive technology-focused course in software development.
  • Confident, and able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment. 
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic fast-paced industry. 
  • Enjoy working as part of a high-performance team.
  • Hard-working, innovative and takes pride in their work.

Cons

    • The workload can be high at times. Sometimes, a lack of instructions/proper documentation makes it hard to navigate while working on some tasks.

    • Working across different time zones is extremely challenging and frustrating when you cannot get help or support in a timely manner.

    • Complicated documentation, fast-paced.

    • You need to adapt quickly and learn things faster

    • Sometimes need more knowledge to work on some areas which require lots of input and time.
