Experience the very best our global company has to offer. We are currently looking for university graduates to join our company as Technology Solutions Graduates. We are hiring into our Wellington and Auckland offices.

The FNZ Graduate Programme

Our Graduate Programme is specifically designed for both graduate and early career candidates. Over an 8-month period, you will gain experience in the Analyst Tester, Analyst Developer, and Production Support roles, combining both practical work experience and professional skills development.

Our FNZ Graduate programme for 2024 was ranked second for Graduate Employers in the banking and finance sector in Prosple’s Top 100 Graduate Employers awards, as well as 12th overall for graduate employers across all companies and industries.

During this programme you will:  

  • Have 3 immersions on project teams within the business, working alongside team members to deliver to client expectations.  You will be exposed to the following skillsets during the Graduate Programme’s three immersion rotations in software development, analysis testing, and production support. 
  • Start at FNZ with an induction and ongoing technical training, taking your university learning to the next level. You will learn the basics of our software development lifecycle, and brush up your skills in C#, .Net, React and SQL Server
  • Learn how the software development lifecycle works at FNZ, with comprehensive learning and development courses.
  • Discover software testing of FNZ platforms, detecting bugs and writing solutions documentation.
  • Participate in business and systems analyst duties as part of a dynamic team.

Who you are and what we are looking for:

  • An A or B+ equivalent bachelor’s degree, preferably from a STEM or economics/finance academic background.
  • A passion for problem-solving and technology.
  • A strong interest in FinTech and are willing to continue to explore and learn this industry. 
  • Although no previous software development experience is required, foundational knowledge in C# .NET and SQL is well regarded.
  • A growth mindset, be resilient and able to cope with change and a very fast-paced work environment.

    • The workload can be high at times. Sometimes, a lack of instructions/proper documentation makes it hard to navigate while working on some tasks.

    • Working across different time zones is extremely challenging and frustrating when you cannot get help or support in a timely manner.

    • Complicated documentation, fast-paced.

    • You need to adapt quickly and learn things faster

    • Sometimes need more knowledge to work on some areas which require lots of input and time.
