Quite flexible.
At the moment it is 4 days in office 1 day at home: in a few months I will get 2 days from home

Company is flexible and considerate of personal needs.

The times you come in and out of the office are flexible as long as you are putting in the hours and getting the work done. If you need to do more work there are many opportunities for paid overtime which are optional but if you want to do more work and earn more it is possible to

Work hours are generally flexible. The company cares more about delivery, so as long as you are delivering well then work hours become less important.
Graduate, Auckland - 28 Aug 2024
The company is very flexible when it comes to starting and finishing time. It is not very flexible with total hours worked in a day which is different to other places I have worked.

Quite flexible with working hours on the basis that day to day can be done

I spent far more hours in the office than I was hoping to. Some of this overtime was paid, much of it wasn't. Hours are relatively flexible, I was able to start late and finish late which suited me well. The reason for the low rating is the amount of work expected of me demanded long hours.

Currently from 9am to 5.30pm. Because I am a graduate student, I will come to office everyday for now.

Very flexible about work range and no formal time tracking. However, pressure to do overtime occurs during crunch time

As long as you do you 8 hours of work during the day they don't really mind when you actually 'start' your day (as long as you make it to any meetings). Over time work isn't compulsory though it often feels expected, but you are paid for your extra time

I would say im working around 9 hours a day atm and i love it. Very flexible. As far as you doing your bit and attending all important meetings on your project

Normally 8 hours per day, I go gym in the morning and start around 8:30 and have a quick lunch. Sometimes have a break if I feel tired and finished around 4:30 - 5.
Graduate, Auckland - 25 Oct 2023
Moderately flexible. Some restrictions based on when meetings happen.

Working hours are very flexible, as long as eight hours are completed somewhere throughout the day, and your work is on track, there are no issues. Work from home two days a week too allows for pretty flexible scheduling of things outside of work.

I have done minimal overtime so far and am ok with the standard 40 hours. Not much flexibility but appreciate the ability to work from home.

Extremely flexible working hours.
Graduate, Wellington - 24 Oct 2023
For base hours, extremely flexible. Two days remote, and all five, as long as you're not missing anything time sensitive, they don't care when your eight hours are done. Even before I signed up, FNZ was notorious for overtime, but it's proven to be entirely voluntary (and well compensated). Personally, marginal hours of additional work are fine with me, doesn't really tire me out, so pretty happy to do overtime. They've become a little less flexible around that after their recent cost cutting measures unfortunately, having to sort Jira tickets out beforehand (and a deep disdain for even the simplest of bureaucratic processes) has led to a marked decrease in the amount of OT I'm doing. Still, can't complain.
