Application Process & Interviews at Fujitsu

There were two interviews; one with HR and one with your direct manager. There was also a cognitive test. What I loved about the interview process is that there's isn't one of those video interviews where you have to record yourself.

Throughout the interview process Fujitsu were always super communicative. I did one online assessment and then had two interviews. One with a HR representative and the other with someone who ended up being in my team when I was hired.

CV application and then 2 interviews

Psychometric tests and two interviews.

Online assessment, video interview and then a final interview with my manager.

two rounds of interviews: one as answering certain questions and emailed back to HR manager, second as interviewing face-to-face with company's director and team manager.

For me, it was only one interview (15 minutes) and I was selected directly after that. The assessments were completed in one day, so overall whole process was done in 2 days

The interview and assessment process was fairly clear at each round. It was easy to organise and easy to track as well. There was quite a bit of time between some of the assessments and the interviews however

3 Interviews

The interview process wasn't stressful. The conversations were engaging and natural.

I was a last minute find the day before group interview so I had a difference experience to others. However I enjoyed the group and 1-1 interviews. I felt it was done effectively and those that were chosen were the standouts.

One interview followed by a role-play exercise that was designed for a group, but only I did it due to the nature of the role

Sent in my CV, then did an online video interview, group interview and had a final meeting with the manager.

2 stages. One informal one panel interview

Assessment centre was well thought out and incorporated a good mix of 1-1 interviews and group sessions.

Why did you apply for this role, tell me about yourself, why did you choose this company etc.

Questions were asked about, tell us about times where I faced challenges in a work environment or dealt with difficult people in a work-like environment. They also asked questions about me personally and about my journey through studying and what made me want to apply for a job at Fujitsu.

Mainly about my previous experiences and then also some behavioural questions.

Behavioural and Technical (Business Analyst role) SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Platforms

Fairly standard questions like whether I knew what the role was, what was a challenge I faced, and a few others along those lines

Tell me about yourself? What's your story? What are some of your schooling degrees? What are your past working experiences?

What do I enjoy doing outside of work? What was the most challenging situation I have had to deal with at work? What do I enjoy doing at work? What have I done for wok?

Behavioural and empathy related questions

- "why me" presentation to future management. - group exercise - develop a charity event as a team and present separately - Generic interview question (strength, weaknesses, what you want in a career, how has your education/experience prepared you for.

Goals Aspirations What you want to get out of the company Describe yourself etc

About my skills from university studies and my goals for the future. Also a lot of questions about teamwork.

How would i handle conflict. Give an example of a time you took on a leadership role

Why did I choose this company? What strengths can I bring? What challenges have I faced in previous roles and how did I deal with them?

Research the company, align your personal values and experience to the company goal and vision/ mission

Research what Fujitsu actually does before the interviews.

have a think about why you want to work for Fujitsu and how the purpose matches your own

know your resume and understand more on what this company offers as services and products.

Be honest, be open about who you are. Fujitsu accept you for who you are.

Show an interest in the company you're applying for! Do some research about your company and find a connection that shows why you want to work at this company. I applied to Fujitsu because it aligned with my purpose driven values and talked about their solar panel agreement with a First Nations company. Also looks into the job role and pick out the few key skills you would need and prepare examples. A lot of business admin roles require some degree of adaptability and stakeholder management- soft skills that you might have had plenty of experience with in uni or working part time!

Be yourself and enjoy the interview process. Try and make it fun and casual as you will always communicate better if your having a natural conversation.

Research the company and its growth areas within the industry

The best way to prepare is to look up interview question and really focus on your response. When you are talking about being in the company, describe in ways that you will be bringing value. Breathe, and think about what you are going to say. Ask questions, what is the team structure? what are the areas of focus for the company? etc.
