Our office culture for the most part is great. Have had no issues in asking for help and everyone has been willing to take time out of their day to assist when needed. After hours, we have had social experiences such as after work drinks or events, which has been a great opportunity to get to know everyone better.

Socialising is very dependant on the team you are in. And the company is not great at supporting this. Company does have a good approach to working from home.

Everyone within the company are very keen to branch out and meet the graduates, often inviting us to meetings, lunch and after work functions. Whilst there is a hierarchy, the structure feels very flat as all the managers frequently interact with all employees and assist with day to day tasks.

Company culture is brilliant, emphasis in hierarchy is removed, the feeling of having a boss is mitigated and instead there is truly leaders to follow

Hierarchy is quite flat, all team members are on same floor and can communicate with senior executives. Socialising is also good amongst colleagues

The culture in the company is incredible. Everyone is very welcoming, helpful, supportive, and friendly. Colleagues look after one another and strive to get to know their peers by checking in on them and even planning post-work events.

The office feels fast paced- brokers are on the phone at their desks, in meeting rooms/booths or talking to each other. The people are friendly, approachable and are willing to assist. The people work cooperatively in their teams but also independently to meet deadlines. Teams are structured so that there is a manager who overseas the entire team. Assistant account executives work closely with account executives. Account managers and client managers are responsible for the larger accounts and are generally the more experienced brokers. After hours, brokers socialise both in their teams and across the business. Brokers will go out for lunch together and have drinks together on a Friday (around 4pm onward) and may move on afterwards to a pub in the area or in the city.

The hierarchy structure is very flat, which is great as everyone is approachable and constantly working together to get the best outcomes for the business. Gallagher as a business has a wide variety of after hours events, where you can be however involved in them as you want to. The individual teams also enjoy getting together after hours, as building comradery is a big part of the broker's experience. Socialising amongst colleagues is a key factor in this role and in some teams you are expected to attend after hours drinks.

The company culture is inclusive and friendly. Everyone is approachable and willing to help. Socialising amongst colleagues largely depends on what team you are in as some are more social than others.
