Scholarship inclusions*

  • Funding of $500 during your second year of study
  • Funding of $2000 during your final year of study
  • A paid summer internship at a Habit Health clinic before the start of your final year
  • A final year student placement with Habit Heath
  • Coaching and mentoring from a Habit Health employee in your chosen area of study
  • Secured employment after study

Programme eligibility

  • Whakapapa Māori or Pacific Island descent;
  • Citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand; and
  • Students enrolled in approved tertiary courses in New Zealand as per below:
  1. Counselling: NZAC accredited education programmes
  2. Physiotherapy: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Auckland University of Technology, Otago University, or WINTEC
  3. Clinical/Health Psychology: Master’s degree in Clinical or Health Psychology from University of Auckland, Victoria University of Wellington, Massey University, or Otago University
  4. Occupational Therapy: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Auckland University of Technology, Otago Polytechnic, or WINTEC
  5. Occupational Health Nursing: Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health from Massey University, or University of Otago
