As our Development Contributions Assessment Officer, you will be required to perform the administrative calculation and assessment duties relating to the development contributions process. This may include evaluating consent applications in conjunction with other Council staff (planning, engineering and policy) for residential and non-residential developments and communicating development contributions costs to external and internal customers.
Your excellent customer service skills will be essential to ensure you can communicate effectively and encourage cooperation between all parties, whilst responding accurately to enquires in a timely manner.
Ideally, you will be a business administrator who is looking for a fresh direction with the accumulated skills you've attained. Being tertiarily qualified in business administration/management would be advantageous. You will need to have a high level of numeracy and be proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and databases.

The recruiting range for this role starting at $56,000 per annum and is negotiable to the right candidate to meet the level of skills and experience the successful candidate can bring to the team.

As a Graduate Building Inspector, currently I will be going to sites with senior inspections in my team and do inspections
processing resource consents
