Our City Delivery Team is out around the city working in crews the underground network for water, stormwater, and wastewater. We are currently looking for qualified tradespeople or those with a bit of experience in the industry – but if you think you’d like to learn and have a can-do attitude we’d love to hear from you!

The teamwork from a list of jobs to maintain, fix and service the water network for the community with tasks like:

  • Fixing a water leak
  • Sorting out a blocked pipe
  • Attending an emergency flood
  • Keeping a drain or pipes
  • Constructing a new connection for a new house or subdivision

This position offers:

What we require of you:

  • Level 3 or Level 4 New Zealand certificate (water and wastewater reticulation) OR Experience in a similar role working on the tools
  • Available to be rostered on-call after hours and weekends
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test

  • Constantly changing environment and some of the people I have met.

  • Extremely supportive environment Fun work place culture Friendly staff.

  • Probably the health insurance; I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there if I need it.
