Your role

IBM New Zealand is looking for an innovative and enthusiastic young professional for their Data & AI Sales internship. The selected candidate will work in a team environment for a period of 6 months.

As a Sales Intern, you will work with their sales team advising prospective clients on the benefits of IBM’s solutions. In this role, you’ll grow skills to become a subject matter expert and collaborate with colleagues across the wider Sales team to advise and support client engagements throughout the sales process. Curiosity and a constant quest for knowledge serve as the foundation for success at IBM.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Share knowledge within IBM and become internal ambassadors for Data Analytics and AI solutions adoption
  • Support IBM teams in Analytics, Data Science and AI projects
  • Work closely with and compile reports and presentations for senior executives and professionals

Intern applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or Unrestricted Working Rights (Visa)
  • You will be enrolled in a tertiary degree at University in New Zealand – for the duration of the internship program
  • Have no more than 2 years of relevant work experience
