KiwiRail Summer 2022/2023 Summer Internship opportunity for Cybersecurity Intern!

This 12-week internship will be based in our Wellington office in the WGT Railway Station 2 Bunny Street starting from the 21 November.  

Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity we have

Cybersecurity: The Cybersecurity team ensures that KiwiRail can safely carry out its activities that involve ICT. The team identifies and mitigates potential cybersecurity risks in KiwiRail's operational environment and when deploying new systems or major changes. This is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable work experience in a department which becomes more and more important as technology develops.

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious and talented student. We are interested in talking to those who have completed at least one year of studies/are working towards a degree in a related major or equivalent tertiary degree.

Additionally, you will have:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively
• A curious, practical, and innovative mindset
