Your role

At Laing O'Rourke, interns gain essential skills and knowledge for success through our rigorous 12-week Internship Programme, offering hands-on experience on real projects throughout the summer. 

A sample of the type of tasks you may complete as a Commercial Management (Quantity Surveying) Intern include:

  • Assisting with cost control and cost management of our projects
  • Procuring supply chain partners in line with project procurement strategies
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
  • Understanding the key principles of construction law and liaising with legal colleagues
  • Supporting maintaining safety standards and quality of workmanship

About you

To be eligible for their Internship Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

  • At the time of application, hold Australian/ New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Be in your second last year of university studies (penultimate year).
  • Be studying a relevant degree to the role advertised, a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or a related degree.
