I undertake various roles, from accepting tenders, moving them onto linfox systems, balancing out fleet management with the supplier and linfox requirements, operations tasks varying from helping drivers with load sheets, toolbox talks, safety checks and inspection, daily driver log book inspection.

Tracking costs and revenue, invoicing customers, reporting daily, weekly, and monthly stats both internally and externally. Pricing new work within the transport space. tracking trailer hire and de-hire status.

Review kpis, analyse rate cards and contract asset registers, also time and motion data.

I cycled through outbound and inventory whilst at this site, my day-to-day responsibilities ranged depending on which section i was in but included interacting and communicating with customers and the team, reducing the amount of dispute stock within our inventory, solving system issues that held up gi's, end of day reporting and emails and working through returned stock. This range of responsibilities and tasks kept me busy and provided me a good understanding of the warehouse and how it operates, whilst offering vast learning opportunities to aid in my development

As a graduate my day-to-day responsibilities are constantly changing depending on which department i am working with. Some of the responsibilities i have taken on include, planning rail and road loads, allocating jobs to drivers and stock takes. All the jobs are complex and challenging in their own right, but can be learnt with the assistance of the work team.

As of now, working with the fit 2 pay team to ensure all paperwork is returned by subcontractors so completed loads can be paid.

I am also involved in rostering and optimising shifts for efficiency for our people and performance. I also spend a strong portion of my day working on ongoing projects, some of which I lead. I also assist in compliance and safety.
