Your First 12 months at Mainfreight:
Roll up your sleeves for a practical and hands-on learning experience within our Customer Services Team. Bringing value to your role, team, and branch you will have the ability to grab opportunities with both hands and help paint the world blue.
Being the first point of contact for our customers, youโre the face of the Mainfreight Transport. The position will enable the successful candidate to develop relationships with our customers and team while learning the foundations of our business.

To be considered for this position you must:
Maintaining existing accounts, finding new business
Looking for new customers, creating proposals and rates, escalated customer queries and complaints, customer reporting, look into customer accounts and making adjustments where necessary.
I really enjoy being an Account Manager and being on the road. I have a number of customers in a range of industries and have learnt so much. I like being able to be a trusted advisor and find solutions for my customers.

The long hours can be tiring at times (but to be honest I don't know how I'd get it all done in less time).
Sometimes the long days (but it's give and take so not a big deal).
I'm nitpicking, sometimes the hours can be long, that's the nature of the work that we do, the customers need their freight, so we need to make that happen so the wider community have access to what they need.
The long days. 10-hour days can be rough. But you get used to them quickly.
