I think we need to look at the flexible desk options I feel strongly about each person having a desk they can call their own, so they feel a sense of belonging in this place.

The office space is nice. Dress code is fine.

The office has everything that is needed on a basic level (kitchenette, fridges, microwaves, panini toaster). It could benefit from additional appliances as there tends to be a queue during lunch. There are showers and locker rooms which are great for those who commute or are involved in lunch-time sports. Dress code ranges from smart to formal depending on meetings/events.

Good location - central city. Desks switch around due to hot-desking policy - tea and coffee is provided, but as a public service you won't get the luxuries provided by private corporations. Dress code is business-casual, sitting more at the business end than the casual end.

Good location, equipment is good and easy to use. Everything is clean and bright and very nice space to work. Dress code is business casual but it is fairly flexible. Some people dress more formally and there is smart casual dress code on Fridays.

The offices are just about perfect, and they are generous with the amenities. The location is great for me as I have a 15 minute commute via public transport. The space and equipment is modern and well cared for. The dress code ranges from business casual to formal, with generally older, or more senior staff dressing in formal clothing, but this does not detract from others ability to wear more comfortable, business casual dress.

The office space, location and the facilities are all great. More gender-neutral toilets could be made available for staff - as one per floor is not much. The dress code is great - business casual is not only appropriate but also easy to meet.

Nice views, limited non-gendered bathrooms. Dress code depends on team and day. Development teams are generally less formal.

Head Wellington Office located on Lambton Quay, Wellington. Good open plan offices. Posts vary but are generally very nice.

Nice office environment. Dress code is corporate, although for women you can be quite varied in how you dress, as long as it is corporate. Semi-casual Fridays.

Harbor views, formal dress

Comfortable and well-set-up for healthy work practices. Dress code is fairly formal but entirely reasonable (and casual Fridays).

General office space; great new flexible desk policy to encourage integration and conversation

Very nice, probably not enough space but we're hopefully moving to a new building. Dress code is formal but the younger people can dress business casual. Some teams (e.g. legal) are very formal.

The Wellington offices are fabulous and the views are great. We are provided with everything that we need to work effectively. The Ministry was also great at providing us with what we needed to work from home during COVID.
