Fixed Income Division - ISD Law Spring Internship Program (Feb 2025)

Your role

• Support documentation negotiators by preparing amendment agreements and reviewing legal documents for OTC derivatives transactions.
• Participate in global projects on risk management and regulatory initiatives, ensuring timely execution.
• Update internal systems regarding negotiation status and manage documentation databases.
• Handle post-negotiation tasks, including document signing and dispatching to counterparties.

About you

• Law student currently studying in the 2nd year of the 3-year LLB course or the 3rd year/4th year of the 5-year LLB course.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good team player.
• Strong quantitative skills and a strong interest in business, economics, and law.
• Willingness and ability to provide quality service to the Firm's clients and to promote and enhance the Morgan Stanley franchise.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and the ability to excel under pressure.
• Proficiency and interest in technology and systems development.
• Organized, pro-active, ability to multitask and work efficiently, detail oriented and self-sufficient.
