This role involves 3 shift patterns on Mondays & Tuesdays with the flexibility required Wednesday - Friday for on-call shift requirements;

06:00 - 14:00

14:00 - 22:00

22:00 - 06:00

Responsibilities included;

  • Removing/loading empty crates on conveyor - A total of 30 crates per minute
  • Removes top hats, crowns and general rubbish from crates
  • Inspect all empty crates for rubbish, ensuring that rubbish is discarded
  • General warehouse maintenance
  • Monitoring processes
  • Complete standard and quality checks

This role requires the following;

  • Knowledge of safe work practices and hazard prevention
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must be physically fit to perform manual handling tasks
  • Flexibility and ability to learn quickly
  • Must have the ability to problem-solve and display good decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of FMCG Machines and process improvement techniques (Beneficial)
  • Mechanical aptitude to run highly automated, fast and complex machinery (Beneficial)

Role Expectations

  • Ensure to always prioritize SAFETY, QUALITY, PRODUCTIVITY in that order
  • You arrive to your shift with the correct PPE or contact PSW prior to your shift to arrange replacement items
  • Ensure you are onsite at least 5 minutes before your shift and remain at your station until next shift arrives
  • Clean area during downtime, review station JOB CARD for area details and standards
  • Escalate accordingly - Safety Incidents and/or hazards, Machine Break Downs, Environmental concerns
  • Punctual during break times
  • Completion of standard work tasks before the end of shift
  • No phones or headphones
