What is Build the Future?

Build the Future is the Prysmian Group Graduate Program. The 2024 edition will be number 13! 

Build the Future provides an immersive experience with a wide range of career development opportunities:

  • 2 weeks Global Induction
  • 1 year Job Rotation in your home country
  • 1 year Local Role in your home country
  • 3 years International Assignment
  • From the 6th year: New Responsibility in a technical area in your home country 

This program aims to hire talents globally, to join Prysmian Sustainability & Digitalization journey.

The Global journey

This Graduate Program provides an immersive experience from day 1. 

  • The program starts with a two-week Global Induction with trainings and activities led by the Prysmian Group Academy in collaboration with a Top-Ranking Business School. 
  • Following your induction, you will be part of a one-year job rotation in 2 different departments, in the Country you’ve been hired in: first is Research and Development (R&D) for 6 months and secondly is Operations in one of our production sites for 6 months. 
  • After the first year of rotation, you will start your temporary local role for a duration of 1 year, following by international assignment for a duration of 3 years. You’ll be assigned either to a technical role in R&D or Operations, mainly based in one of our production sites, strongly linked to the core of our business. You’ll learn new ways of working, acquire new knowledge, meet new colleagues and embrace a new culture! 
  • At the end of your assignment abroad, returning to the country you’ve been hired in, you will be ready to take on a new responsibility in the technical areas continuing your career in Prysmian Group.

Who are you?

  • You are keen on joining a career in our industry and you are ready to embrace a new challenge.
  • You have graduated in the last 18 months, or you are completing a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.
  • You speak English fluently.
  • You have worked or studied abroad and/or you are willing to join an international experience with Prysmian Group.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You enjoy learning and working with other colleagues.
  • You are available to start by March 2024.
  • You are passionate about diversity and inclusion and keen on joining a multicultural environment.
