There are CSR projects here, however I think like many companies they exist for appearances sake. Most people here seem genuine and committed to social problems, however happenings in the news are a reminder there are many who don't care

After the whole tax incident, PwC have really been pushing CSR objectives. I think PwC is a fairly ethical company and there are lots of different initiatives PwC has to work on CSR such as paid volunteering days, toy donations for Christmas etc., opportunities for PwC managers and above to be on boards.

There's a whole group for volunteering and we have Foundation Day for helping a charity/NFP for a day. I've worked helping Indigenous kids read at St Andrew's School

I am part of a group that raises money for cancer research, have also got to volunteer for a charity that raises money for kids with heart conditions and their families. PwC has a vision to make a positive impact on society across different aspects by 2020

This is a firm wide goal. However it is up to the individual teams to action/initiate which doesn't always happen.
