Assisting the team i am in with campaign briefs, invoicing, meaningful conversations about what is happening in the organisation.

Day-to-day activities are dependent on the rotations we are in at the time, but in most roles I am able to help the team with BAU activities, with lots of opportunities to own projects or tasks.

Depends on the rotation, but I usually get given a big task that goes on for the duration of the rotation, then several other smaller tasks to handle simultaneously.

Pros and cons of working at RAA

Pros

  • The company culture and how approachable/friendly everyone is. I always have someone to turn to and have support for in anything that I needed.

  • RAA is highly invested in developing its younger employees and gives us ample opportunity to engage with learning and development sessions from a variety of topics.

  • The workplace culture is really great, they really focus on work/life balance and ensure that we work in an approachable, friendly environment.

  • The culture is great, RAA and the graduate program are pretty flexible in terms of allowing days to work from home, and starting/finishing times can be negotiated with the manager.

  • Everyone is extremely welcoming and wants you to do your best, so they are always open to providing feedback and support.

Cons

    • A downside is the graduate salary, for the work we are doing and for our STEM degree backgrounds I do believe it should be higher.

    • The company structure can be a little frustrating at times as information is difficult to collect.

    • Lack of direction/unclear employment progression.

    • There could be a greater commitment to diversity company-wide, especially respecting cultural and orientation diversity.

    • This year was the first time having a different cohort of different grads who have come from different education backgrounds. Which has made a bit of drift between certain groups of grads.
