Our host company partner offers an excellent finance opportunity for a talented professional. Reporting to the Team Leader, Personal Finance, this position is responsible for providing valued services to achieve more for their members by analysing, verifying and processing documentation to support personal finance applications through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing and verifying supporting loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with credit policy and legislative requirements.
  • Interacting with members via phone to understand financial information provided on loan applications, ensuring compliance with responsible lending obligations.
  • Proactively keep members informed and follow up on incomplete, inconsistent, missing or outstanding documentation.
  • Performing basic calculations to ascertain income from various documents, including tax returns.
  • Preparing loan contract/cheques for signing, following compliance procedures.
  • Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth settlement process.
  • Maintaining accurate records within core systems in accordance with recording-keeping procedures.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and process enhancements.
  • Providing occasional relief duties in Personal Finance team as required from time to time.

  • Mortgage Broking/Aggregating Loan Writing/Processing and administration knowledge

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated Mentor and Placement Consultant to guide, coach and offer career advice throughout the internship placement.
