Wake up and get ready for the trip. Today Michael (Relationship Manager) and I are heading to Omeo for the Annual Mountain Calf Sale, where approximately 10,000 heads are expected to be sold over 2 days.
7.45 AM
I was picked up and we started the drive to Omeo, stopping for coffee on the way.
11.30 AM
Arrived in Omeo, Michael and I checked into our accommodation and then head to the first sale which is for Angus cattle only. Throughout the sale, Michael and I chat with Rural Bank clients who have come to the sale, as well as other professionals that we know in the community. We get lunch at the kiosk which is being run by the CWA.
1.30 AM
We drive back to Omeo to unpack and get ready for the event Rural Bank is sponsoring at the Ensay Winery.
2.30 PM
Michael and I travel to Benambra for their sale, this sale is for Hereford and Charolais cattle. Michael and I continue to meet up with different clients and other service providers who are selling cattle, showing our support to the local event.

Michael and I head to Ensay for the event. We are treated to a dinner provided by Tambo Valley Beef, who have provided a steer for the event. Entertainment was provided by Ian Cover and Greg Champion of the Coodabeen Champions. Michael and I chat with several clients, and confirmed appointments for the next day with the two of them.

Michael and I packed up the Rural Bank banners and headed back to Omeo for the night. The next day we were going to another cattle sale and have two client meetings before heading back to Sale.
