I can see how my role can assist with the running of the overall organisation and that provides satisfaction. To know that what I achieve in my day to day responsibilities keeps Ryman moving forward is hugely motivating!

My current role is very administrative based and I am involved various sales support activities to make sales processes as efficient as possible. This included triaging website enquiries to the correct sales advisor, liaising with design & development to get necessary information to assist in selling, organising and inputting data in our customer management software, printing of sales plans and assisting with running online events / in person village open days. In addition to these day to day tasks, I produce various reports for sales managers and senior leadership on a weekly basis to ensure they're up to date with the latest sales status and targets

The work that I am currently doing is related to my study background so I am really enjoying learning some new skills in the role as well as developing ones I already have.

Pros and cons of working at Ryman Healthcare

Pros

  • I absolutely love the company culture at Ryman Healthcare. The company really care about it's staff and residents alike. Everyday we are treated with nothing short of kindness and care, making coming to work everyday extremely enjoyable. There are also a number of learning and development opportunities which are available and senior leaders who are willing to take the time out of their day to cultivate team growth. I love the interaction between departments and how easy it is to communicate with the broader Ryman team.

Cons

    • So far the workload has been quite demanding although manageable
