Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
No strong presence of hierarchy, though there is the respect between each senior roles etc. Socialising with the team at work is pretty easy. Though there isn't really a culture

Very impressed with the culture at Stats NZ. Most people are very friendly and approachable. There are plenty of events and networks to get involved with. Awesome opportunities to learn more about te ao Māori and practice te reo. People are very accepting of stepping away from the desks to have a kōrero, go for a walk etc.

There isn't necessarily a strong culture. Lots of turnover which makes it difficult.

The culture here at Stats NZ is a really positive and welcoming culture. Everyone is ready to help and work together to achieve a goal, project, or objective. Even though there is a very hierarchal structure there is communication between every level. There are lots of cultural activities that are orgnanised for people to enjoy and participate in and grow their knowledge.

Co-operation and teamwork are key when it comes to Stats NZ. Everyone is like a big family, and everyone is reliant on each other to make sure the job is done, and the job is done well. No one pushes you to do ridiculous hours, and you get treated very well. Especially being a M?ori female, it's nice coming into an environment where I can bring my whole self to work, and am encouraged to do so.

The culture is genuinely friendly. The hierarchy isn't that deep which keeps bureaucracy to a minimum. It's very easy to approach senior members of staff.

Very good culture in the office, and good after-work activities organised by the social clubs. Our team is very social and helpful with each other.
