Great courses on offer for diversity training. The environment itself is inclusive (gender diverse toilets, disabled toilets, accessible sinks etc.). The pride lanyards provide comfort for diverse people. Many networks available for different ethnic minorities.

In my experience I was hired through an internship programme specifically targeted to M?ori students at Victoria University. Myself and five other M?ori students joined Stats NZ in various teams, this enabled us all to gain multiple skills and also see what it was like to work in a professional environment. It also helped us get our foot in the door and meet a whole lot of people who could potentially help us further our careers after university.
