Do you pride yourself on your physical strength? Looking for a summer job that will keep you fit?

We have multiple fixed-term opportunities available at our North Island Distribution Centre ranging from 16, 24, 32 and 40 hours per week. Based in Wiri, we are looking for physically fit and able team players who are enthusiastic, reliable, happy to get "stuck in" and see a job through from start to finish.

Available shifts include:

  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 11.30 AM – 8.00 PM
  • 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Please note there may be opportunities to increase hours as per business needs.

We are looking for people who can start at short notice and who can work through the holiday period.

These are physically demanding and busy roles and will offer you a variety of tasks, including:

  • Devanning containers
  • Processing orders
  • Loading belts
  • Wrapping pallets
  • Stacking pallets heavy to light
  • 2 man lifts
  • Manual handling/Repetitive movements with large items
  • Operate pallet jack/Knife/strap machine
  • Collect totes from dispatch

Key skills and attributes:

  • Physically fit and able
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Distribution/Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
  • This physically demanding role requires someone with a good degree of strength, that can keep up with our fast-paced environment.
