Applying for a Transpower Engineering Graduate position is simple and straightforward:
Transpower utilises online interviews as a way of creating a level playing field i.e. all participants have the same prep time, questions and time limits. It's also a great way for you to express yourself and be seen and heard by the panel. You could think of it as a presentation about you!
We seek graduates who have obtained a minimum B+ average.
In conjunction with this, we seek graduates who have demonstrated leadership capability and discipline. You may have been a team leader on group assignments, school prefect, peer leader/tutor, played sports to a representative level or demonstrated leadership and service to your local community through volunteer work.
We offer a competitive starting salary, with a salary review within six months of joining Transpower and regular reviews after that.

Right from day one, you'll be given challenging work and take on real responsibilities that will accelerate your learning.
During your graduate programme, primarily based in our Head Office Waikoukou in Wellington, you'll rotate through various areas of the business.
