We currently have two vacant positions available and seek highly skilled certified Drainlayers and/or Plumbers to join our team as a Lecturer.
This role is ideal if you're wanting meaning & purpose in your work.
You don't need to have teaching experience as we will wrap support around you, but what you will need is a genuine passion for student success. You'll be someone who is naturally engaging and approachable and who enjoys bringing out the best in others. You'll get huge satisfaction from passing your knowledge on.
You'll spend time in the classroom teaching theory, but most of our learning is done through practical, hands-on experience. Most of your teaching time will be in our well-equipped workshops within our purpose-built trades building. You'll be involved with apprentices, industry, suppliers and employers.
Some of your key duties will include:
We offer our students pre-apprenticeship trade training and apprenticeship programmes in plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying.
You'll have industry experience and have a current NZ certification licence in either drainlaying and/or plumbing.
