Your role

As an intern at Urbis, you won't be a passive observer – you'll actively contribute to complex and meaningful projects that shape the urban landscape. Working with the accomplished team at Urbis, you'll gain invaluable insights and make a tangible impact on real-world initiatives. The student roles provide the flexibility of working 2 - 4 days per week, allowing you to integrate your internship with your studies seamlessly.

The Urbis Brand and Clients team consists of strategic professionals focused on elevating Urbis' brand identity and cultivating strong client relationships throughout Australia. Their services encompass brand management, client relationship management, marketing strategy development, and communications. They play a critical role in positioning Urbis as a leader in urban development and guaranteeing client satisfaction.  By leveraging their in-depth knowledge of market trends, client needs, and communication strategies, the team assists Urbis in navigating the competitive landscape, attracting and retaining clients, and establishing a robust and well-regarded brand.

As an intern in their Economics & Property (Data, Knowledge & Innovation) team, you will:

  • Get exposure to a diverse range of clients and projects
  • Provide assistance to Data, Knowledge & Innovation (DKI) team members in all stages of innovation projects, from discovery to ongoing support
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough gathering and cleaning
  • Develop relationships with peers in other Business Units throughout the firm
  • Master the technical aspects of Data, Knowledge & Innovation projects, not limited to but including research, data analytics, modelling, data ETL and data visualisation

The year-long Student Internship Program, running from February to December 2025, will enable you to graduate with the distinct advantage of industry experience over your peers

  • This program will be suitable for those who will be undertaking tertiary studies in a relevant field in 2025
  • Passionate, hardworking and a great fit for the spirited, collaborative culture at Urbis
  • Can communicate with confidence and in a responsive manner, both written and verbally
    Proven skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Please Note: you must have valid working rights in Australia and be studying throughout the internship to be eligible for the program.
