Major Road Projects Victoria is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads.
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
We’re also delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while reducing traffic congestion and improving safety on the roads people rely on every day.
As a dedicated centre for road excellence, our work goes far beyond the tunnels, freeways, bridges and extra lanes.
We’re focused on leaving a legacy that benefits communities, the environment and industry for generations to come.
