Your role

The ideal candidate

• Should have a voracious hunger for sleep and a head full of dreams.
• One who thrives when working, ahem, sleeping from home.
• They should value sleep over binging a series, even if it’s the season finale.
• They should love sleeping, especially during meetings, or when someone mentions work.
• They should be well versed in the art of siesta but be willing to learn more about naps.

Salary & benefits 

The average annual salary for an Intern will range from INR 3 to 3.5 LPA (Source: Ambition Box).

• Sleep Interns at Wakefit earn up to INR 100,000 after completing the 100-day program.
• The company provides each intern with a Wakefit mattress and a fitness-tracking app. Best of all, interns ‘work’ from their homes.

Career Progression 

Besides the short-term Sleep Internship, freshers may find it difficult to find full-time roles at Wakefit. The company often needs experienced professionals for most of the available roles. Freshers can still explore a career path in one of Wakefit’s five departments:

• Design
• Factory Operations (eg GET program)
• Finance
• Logistics and Supply Chain
• Technology

Inexperienced freshers may join the company in some design jobs such as illustrators and visual designers. Entry-level employees in the other departments normally have one to two years of experience.

About You

Here’s what Wakefit is looking for with this role:

Preferred Qualifications:

• A history of falling asleep during class will be counted as a relevant experience.
• Should be able to fall asleep within 10-20 minutes of hitting the pillow.
• Seeking sleepy self-starters who are motivated enough to stay in bed for at least 8 hours of solid sleep.
• Strong knowledge and a distinctive point of view on sleep products and how they contribute to better sleep.
• Should demonstrate qualities of a team player, when the team is likely to miss their bedtime or likely to indulge in activities that discourage sleep.
• Past Experience in sleeping in any kind of environment – irrespective of noise and brightness levels.
