Culture at WM New Zealand

The company culture is fantastic. There is a huge focus on each other's diversity; specials days in different cultures are often celebrated with a couple hours spent watching performances, interactive riddles or games and delicious food. There is also the Inclusion and Diversity Team who make sure every feels seen and valued, and put on great events. On a team level, everyone is supportive and friendly. People are always willing to help if you need it.

There is no after hour culture. No workplace functions or anything since I began. However working in the business during work hours, everybody is very fun to work around with good banter and a very welcoming attitude. There is no sense of hierarchy, everyone is just as important as the next person. If I have a question, I will get an answer straight away.

There is some culture here. The work place is enjoyable to be in. But coming from a workplace with a small team where I know everyone very well is a bit of a change.

In office is reasonably chill and good times. small amount of afterhours events. not too common though
