Sustainability at WM New Zealand

The company are extremely committed and are doing huge projects like converting the fleet to electric vehicles. Landfills are another great example of sustainability and show that the company care, with the huge effort that goes into protecting the surrounding environment and biodiversity, and that they are turned into flourishing green parks at the end of their life.

WM does what they can to reduce environmental impacts from landfill gas capture to electric fleets to minimalizing fuel consumption and leachate management. Not to mention their recycling and organics disposal processes.
