Can be more competitive

As a graduate, I find that the pay at Western Power is average compared to the market. While it may not be the highest, it is fair for entry-level positions and comes with opportunities for growth and development.

Standard. 2 years guaranteed being at a graduate pay is a little bit of a sting, any job I'm grateful for however.

I will say it's average, but it is the lowest offer I received. Bonuses? never heard of them.

I agree that company provides lots of benefits, in my opinion for the work we contribute the pay could have been improved. But I am satisfied with current pay.

The pay is not bad considering I work in the government sector. However I wish the graduate pay would increase more incrementally inline with what a full time engineer gets paid as by time we finish the rotation, or even during rotations we are doing the work of a normal engineer. I don't think bonuses really apply to us.

Western Power pay reasonably well for a graduate program. I'm unsure of the pay and bonuses of higher-level jobs though.

The payment is comparatively less as that of the private sector.

The graduate salary is very competitive compared to private company graduate programs (WP is a government owned entity) but does not compare well when you reach senior roles as there appears to be high staff turnover at that level of experience (staff retention needs a lot more work in that area).

Pay is great for a graduate-level program. I think pay scales/progression could be presented more clearly. For example, steps to go from graduate to normal to senior data scientist, etc... and what pay is expected at these levels. There isn't any bonuses as far as I know.

Base graduate salary is very competitive, with a number of options available for additional pay after the graduate program.

Good pay

State Government Enterprise, no bonuses available. Pay rises dependent on current state government legislation / ruling.

At a graduate level the pay is standard across the board. No bonuses however. Future pay prospects are limited by the state government wages act.

Pay is award rate though not as competitive as private companies, though I'd rather have the work-life balance provided here. I do not believe there are bonuses at WP.

Pay is average. There are no bonuses, though it is a public company so this is expected.

The salary aspect is what the company lacks in. The salary is not similar to the standard of the market i.e. other graduates of the same industry. But the broad exposure to different aspects covers this.

Western power offers several great perks, such as discounts on private health insurance, gym memberships, and gift cards. There are also several other benefits that I have yet to fully explore.

Can pay for 4 weeks of leave observed quite a bit sick leave use (not hounded on for using)

Unlimited sick leave.

Offers on Hoyts tickets, Automobile service discounts. Few restaurant discounts. and not sure much of these.

I think one of the biggest perks currently is the 'unlimited sick leave', it makes work less stressful that if I get sick, I don't need to debate if I can actually take the day off. Also that I can buy 4 additional weeks of leave each year.

The best perk for me is the 40% working from home per week. Another great perk is a table tennis table that is used on lunch breaks regularly.

There are few corporate perks like every organisation. Nothing fancy

Two wellness days each financial year are offered which are extra paid days off on top of your 4 weeks of annual leave.

An optional social club offers a range of discounts and deals. I also got an excellent corporate rate on health insurance.
