Not sure about promotion, however Xero is very committed to hiring diverse talent and can be seen in their graduate cohorts.

Awesome! I am queer, genderqueer, neurodivergent, and a person of colour. In other workplaces I have often felt out of place or tokenised, but I feel I am able to be my full authentic self at Xero. The company itself is super diverse in who it hires, and there are very active employee run groups for people to connect over shared identities. I know colleagues who work four days a week, and I know Xero has generous maternity leave policies.

I think Xero is a very diverse company and its values ensure that everyone is accepted. I haven't experienced any unethical behaviour.

Some things feel very corporate which can be jarring, but it's a bigger company so it's hard to expect much more.

All walks of life are represented at Xero, and they do a great job of identifying when they need to do better. There are also many learning opportunities presented - just this week we celebrated Ada Lovelace day with a women and gender diverse panel where they were able to speak candidly about their experiences in the workforce and uni. They also took questions, which were all very respectful and were genuinely from a place of wanting to learn and support others. There is still some way to go to get that nice level playing field but Xero actively tries to do better every day.
